Company Overview

Headquartered in San Diego, CA, TDG Aerospace was founded in 1990 with the mission of providing the most advanced and cost effective safety solutions to the commercial aviation industry.

The company produces three primary products, the The NOFOD™ and WarmWing™ Clear Ice Prevention Systems and the Universal Fault Interrupter (UFI 3000™).

The NOFOD™ and WarmWing™ Clear Ice Prevention Systems are designed to prevent the formation of cold soaked wing ice that forms on the ground in ambient temperatures above freezing. NOFOD™ was designed for use on rear-engine aircraft and WarmWing™ is currently being developed for use on aircraft with thin profile wing designs, such as the Boeing 737 NG.

The UFI 3000™ is a universal fault interrupter that protects an aircraft's electrical systems and components from electrical faults in sensitive areas such as fuel pumps, boost pump motors and fuel quantity indicators. The UFI 3000 can be installed in a variety of aircraft.

TDG products help major carriers prevent problems associated with fire and ice on their aircraft. Using proven technology, TDG products ensure a safer and more cost-effective aircraft, enabling air carriers to save money through greater fuel efficiency, lowered maintenance costs and faster turnaround times on the ground.

In addition, the NOFOD™ system serves as the primary means of compliance with the FAA's Air Worthiness Directive #AD-2002-21-06 (STC SA6042NM). The UFI 3000™ assists airlines in complying with SFAR 88.

TDG's clients include many of the world's major airlines, among them American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Alaska Airlines, US Airways, Aeromexico, Midwest Express, Allegiant Air, Otter and MGM Mirage.
